Progress Report: LatD

In addition to my Deathwing, I've been collecting a Lost and the Damned army as well. It seems I'm always behind the curve on these things.

When the Eye of Terror supplement came out I jumped on the Space Wolf 13th Company; and finally started them a year or so later... oops. Only a year after that did I realize how cool the Lost and the Damned could be. While my friend Joel pursued the Traitor Guard focus, I instead focused on the Mutants. 3x30 Mutant squads later... perhaps I'll post photos some day.

So here we are again, years after everyone else was doing it I've picked up some Brettonian bitz on eBay and the Warstore and combined them with Imperial Guard lasgun arms. A la Dave Taylor of GW?

Anyway, a work-in-progress from last week and from Sunday.

WiP Traitor Guardsmen

Next up, the command squad. Note the Flamer dude will have the crazy "clown" head. I figure you have to be the crazy guy to be carrying a flamer.

Traitor Guard Command

With the coming of the Apocalypse book and the loss of Lost and the Damned with its reliance on the Chaos SM codex, I began putting together both my own LatD "codex" and including the required CSM items as well as creating some APOC Datasheets for my take on Traitor Guard.

In short, on my Datasheet, a Traitor Platoon consists of 1 Traitor Command squad (character + 4 guardsmen) and 3+ Traitor squads. In keeping with similar Chaos units, I increased the squad size to 15 models.

Hence, my unit above is a Traitor Command squad and 3x15 Traitors. I've done similar APOC Datasheets for including Traitor Sentinels and Traitor Leman Russ tanks as well. Perhaps some day I will make them public.

Enjoy,

Jon
